What is Epic Discovery?
Epic Discovery at Heavenly Resort is summer fun and activities for the whole family. You will find an assortment of activities available that include the following attractions listed below.
Ridge Rider Mountain Coaster
This gravity-powered alpine coaster will exhilarate you and your family as it coasts through forest and natural rock formations. The coaster sled fits up to two riders, so you can enjoy this activity with others.
Tubing
Breeze down a thrilling 500 foot-long hill - without snow or water! There is also a mini-tubing track for those 42" tall
Ropes Courses
There are a variety of ropes courses and obstacles for all types of skill levels and include the following:
Red Tail Flyer Zip Line
The children’s zip line is 15 feet off the ground and 100 feet long providing a great introduction into zip lining for children.
Granite Peak Climbing Wall
The climbing wall is a man-made rock wall inspired by the iconic rock formations found in the Sierra Nevada mountain range and available for all abilities and experience levels
Gemstone Panning
Gemstone Panning is an interactive activity simulating gold panning and may include a small suprise for the kids!
Free Adventures
Walk one of Heavenly’s scenic hiking trails, check out yoga or find the other fun, free activities.

There different pass levels that can be purchased with varying prices, but in my opinion the best deal would be to get the Ultimate Adventure Pass.
The Ultimate Adventure Pass is the easiest way to experience everything that Epic Discovery at Heavenly Resort has to offer. You will get all-day access to every activity mentioned above and it includes the gondola ride up the mountain.

- Boulder Cove Ropes Course

- Bear Cubs Ropes Course
- This ropes course is a great introduction for kids and is designed with additional safety features and a continuous belay system for safety
