Hyatt Prive is an exclusive travel advisor only program that was introduced in 2018, enabling select travel agencies to provide unique benefits to their clients who make their Hyatt bookings through them.

This program operates similarly to other invitation-only programs such as Marriott STARS, Marriott Luminous, Rosewood Elite Partner, Hilton Impresario, and more. 

Member travel agencies within these programs have the privilege of offering their clients exceptional perks and amenities akin to those enjoyed by travelers with hotel elite status.  And even if you have hotel elite status that unlocks great value-added benefits, Hyatt Prive can still go above and beyond providing special offers and even better value-added benefits (or combine the best of both!).

The Family Travel Guy is a Virtuoso affiliated Travel Advisor and is able to offer Hyatt Prive benefits to clients staying at eligible Hyatt brands.

What are Hyatt Prive Benefits?

  • Benefits can vary by hotel, but Hyatt Prive benefits include 
    • Welcome Amenity & Welcome Letter
    • Breakfast for Two: Guests will receive daily complimentary full breakfast at a hotel restaurant for up to two guests.
    • Property Credit: Valid for certain incidentals during the stay. Amount varies by hotel.
    • Room Upgrade Priority
    • Connecting Rooms Priority
    • Early Check-In Priority
    • Late Checkout Priority
  • There are also exclusive promotions only available to Hyatt Prive advisors that can include free nights, extra hotel credit and more.  These promotions can vary depending on the hotel.

How to Book a Hyatt Prive Rate?

  • Hyatt Prive rates can only be booked by eligible travel advisors who have access to the program.  You can contact me, The Family Travel Guy, if you have a hotel booking request for Hyatt Prive.

Is There a Minimum Stay Requirement?

  • Some Hyatt brands have minimum stay requirements to qualify for Prive benefits
    • No Minimum at Park Hyatt, Miraval, Andaz, Thompson Hotels
    • Two Night Minimum at Alila, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Destination by Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Centric, JdV by Hyatt
    • Three Night Minimum at Ziva, Zilara

    What Rates Qualify for Hyatt Prive?

    • In most cases, the “Best Available Rate” or "Flexible/Standard Rate" needs to be booked in order to gain access to Hyatt Prive benefits.  
    • You can't combine rates or use other discounted rates or use points to book your stay.

      Can Existing Reservations Get Hyatt Prive Benefits?

      • If you made a reservation and paid using an eligible flexible/standard rate, you may be able to get Hyatt Prive benefits added to your existing reservation.  In these cases, reach out to me and I can see what your options are.  

      Is Hyatt Prive Similar to Having Elite Status in World of Hyatt (Globalist Status)? 

      • Yes - but without the requirements needed for elite status!  
      • If you don't travel extensively for business or leisure and can't reach the requirements needed for World of Hyatt Globalist Status, you can book a Hyatt Prive rate and make yourself a VIP!
