In the near future this program may be encompassed as part of the Marriott International Luxury Brands Program.  Marriott International Luxury Brands represents the following hotel collections: EDITION, The Ritz-Carlton, The Luxury Collection, St. Regis, Bulgari, and W Hotels.

In San Francisco, there are three hotels that are part of the Starwood Luxury Privileges Program, including the Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco, W San Francisco and the St. Regis San Francisco.

Two of the three hotels below are also Virtuoso 'Best of the Best' Properties.  Read more below for highlights of the value-added amenities and differences between the two programs below at each of the hotels.

Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco
The Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is a landmark hotel encompassing an entire city block in San Francisco and is conveniently located central to everything the city has to offer.

The hotel first welcomed guests in 1875, as the world's largest and most luxurious hotel, but the earthquake of 1906 destroyed the property.  The building that stands now was constructed in 1909, renovated and retrofitted in the early 1990's and completely remodeled in 2015.

Experience gracious hospitality on a grand scale at the iconic Palace Hotel, San Francisco.  The Palace Hotel is a full-service destination that offers elegant accommodations, evidenced by soaring 14-foot ceilings, original architectural details, opulent bedding, marble bathrooms and a host of thoughtful and luxurious modern amenities.
