Review: Hyatt House Anaheim (near Disneyland)

The Hyatt House Anaheim is one of the newest hotels near Disneyland and is perfect place for families to stay at when visiting Anaheim.  The hotel offers spacious rooms and suites with separate living and sleeping areas, full kitchens and even bunk beds in some rooms.

Hotel Overview:
The Hyatt House Anaheim is one of the newest hotel near Disneyland, opening in July 2016, and is located less than a mile from the park entrance.  It is conveniently located within walking distance to Disneyland (approximately 10 minute walk) and the Anaheim Convention Center.

The five-story hotel has 262 guest rooms featuring studios and one-bedroom suites with kitchens.  As you walk in, you'll be greeted by a large communal space, H Bar and lobby.

Hotel amenities include: Complimentary breakfast buffet, an outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness center, business center, self-parking, complimentary internet and on-site laundry.

Self parking is available in an underground garage for $18 per day.

There is also a Walgreens, Starbucks and Blaze Pizza located on the lobby level of the building, making it convenient to grab toiletries, snacks, coffee and food, as needed.

Accommodations:
The hotel offers residential inspired suites with 395-790 square feet of space, including bunkbeds, kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas.  The suites are perfect for families who need space to spread out and stay close to the the Disney magic without having to pay the higher prices of a Disney hotel.

For our most recent stay here, we were in a Studio suite with a kitchen that featured a clean, contemporary style with ocean imagery.  The room offered us lots of space, the convenience of having a small kitchen and separate living area to relax in.

We had a view of the surrounding Anaheim area and a pool view from the room.

Summary
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt House Anaheim.  The complimentary breakfast is a nice perk to have (offered at all Hyatt House and Hyatt Place locations) and the studio suite we were in was a great value for the price.

We didn't spend much time in the room as we planned full days at Disneyland, but having stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and the Hyatt Place Anaheim (located close by) previously, the Hyatt House Anaheim definitely has the best location between the three hotels to Disneyland.
