Review: Four Seasons Resort Lanai

Review: Four Seasons Resort Lanai

Located on Lanai's southern coast, the Four Seasons Lanai sits on Hulopoe Bay and greets you with a stunning expanse of pearl-white sand and crystal blue waters.

Best described as unspoiled, easy-going and endlessly beautiful, the Four Seasons Lanai is the epitome of Hawaiian modern luxury and hospitality, yet the vibe is still the old Hawaii captured in vintage postcards - part adventure and part romance, with opportunities to experience local culture at every turn.

On our recent trip to Maui, I had an opportunity to visit this amazing resort on the island of Lanai and was blown away!  Full review, a look at Virtuoso amenities, and more down below!

Interested in receiving extra benefits for your stay at the Four Seasons Lanai, including potential room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, hotel credit, and more?  Send me an email at [email protected] for more details!

Resort Overview:
Getting to the island of Lanai is an experience of and in itself - You arrive on a small private island that seems a world away from the crowds.

For my trip to Lanai, I took the ferry from the Lahaina harbor on Maui, approximately an hour ride away, and then was transported by minibus to the luxurious Four Season Lanai.

Note that transfers from the boat harbor or airport are complimentary for guests.

The 10-minute drive along the windy cliffside road will have you arrive to the entry porte cochere where you'll be greeted by staff members with cold towels and welcome drinks, ready to greet you by name.

The two-story lobby of the resort is impressive and has that wow-factor that features a blend of old Hawaii along with and a contemporary ambiance with rich wood floors and paneled walls, massive murals depicting Lanai’s early history, and sleek furniture that feels both island-inspired and upscale.
